Our work

Roughly a third of the food grown in this country is never eaten. At the same time, families in our own counties skip meals. Those two facts sit next to each other for one reason: moving surplus food quickly is logistics, and logistics costs money.

That is the gap we work in.

Food recovery

We build relationships with growers, distributors and retailers who have surplus they cannot sell, and we move it before it spoils.

Direct distribution

Recovered food reaches pantries, congregations and families through partners already trusted in their neighborhoods.

Accounting that holds up

Every donation is recorded and receipted automatically. Every pound recovered is logged. Donors and regulators can both see exactly what happened.
